Its spectacular buildings and sprawling campuses (Old and New) present an impressive glimpse of a veritable university. With its primary, secondary and higher educational institutions the sangha has become avertual boon and blessing of lord Basaveshwar for the students of this religion. In all, 1500 teaching and non teaching staff are engaged in imparting education to 1800 students.

Shri Dr. Veeranna C. Charanthimath, Ex-MLA

Chairman, B V V Sangha

B.V.V. Sangha was established by the visionary, His Holiness Shri. Gurubasava Mahawamiji of Bilur in the year 1906. It was started as Sanskrit ‘Patashala’ to give ‘sanskara’ to children through value based education, which is still the need of the hour where values are fast disappearing in the modern society.
Our Sangha is rendering yeoman service in the field of education. The main motto of Sangha is to uphold the values and commitment for excellence in higher education. Since the inception of the Sangha, it is contributing stupendously in the field of education with more than 164 educational institutes under its banner. Sangha has seen tremendous growth with the blessings of Gurubasava Mahaswamiji, committed sangha members and dedicated teaching and non-teaching faculty. We assure overall growth of the students by providing state-of-the-art, ultra-modern facilities along with international standard quality education to them. We also assure the patients seeking healthcare, the best of services from the best trained faculty at affordable costs.
It is our belief that “What we do for ourselves dies with us; what we do for others and the world remains and is immortal”.
